Rob, I didn't notice this when I read the strip this morning but you're absolutely right---it was Andrew's fault yet again. I checked the original script I sent him and my spelling was, as always, impeckable.
Good gag, though!

When I had my milk delivered, I made sure the tops were impeckable.

Ah, that's okay then. But I'm still picking on your brother.

So you were one of those who was always picked last and reluctantly at school for teams in P.E.

My brother always said he was better at English than me...I told him that was unpossible!

I can confirm that Roger was always among the first couple of 'picks' when names were being chosen for the Beano/Dandy 5-aside lunchtime games. No. I'm not being a creep - he really was that good! And there is no truth in the theory that the rest of us were complete dumplings.
I apologise, in advance.

Those were the days, Steve---an hour of football, a quick pint and back to the office, twenty minutes late!

To expand on this, I've always been into sport. As a kid, I kicked a ball around from dawn till dusk. I was an ever-present, classy number ten in my school team which won the North of Scotland league and cup double in 1969. (This was Inverness Royal Academy. After victorious matches, we'd sing "We are the I.R.A."--- at the time, that acronym was less controversial). After that, I played amateur football---and, briefly, semi-professional football---until my mid-twenties when torn ligaments in both ankles ended a career that was destined for Real Madrid. I still play golf to a reasonable standard and have notched up three holes-in-one over the years and broken 70 on a few occasions. I've also won tournaments at table tennis, darts, pool and snooker. Note how I've drifted indoors to sports that can be played within a couple of feet from a beer. I also love watching sport---live. I've seen Scotland beat England at Wembley, Jack Nicklaus win The Open at St. Andrews and England beat the West Indies in Leeds. (Mince, I should explain that this involves three separate sports---football, golf and cricket). I've also seen Dundee United beat Barcelona in a European tie at Tannadice Park. (It happened---look it up!)
I've just re-read all this and it sounds so boastful----excellent! Seriously, sport has always been the escape from my working life, participating or watching, and long may that continue.
By the way, I'm also a demon at cribbage....

I knew most of that, Roger, but had no idea you were a semi pro, even briefly. Who was that for? Or are you referring to the time you forgot your wallet after the five-a-sides, and we had to have a whip round in the pub?
I apologise, in advance.

Redundant

In your dreams.   If I find a multiplayer cribbage site [that doesn't require me to surrender my first born) I'll be glad to show you the error of your ways, you just bring the dice...
