I was going to point that out but did not want to embarrass Peepmaster.

Actually I vaguely smiled at the one where you'd spelt "whisky' incorrectly.

Peepsie, that reaches a new level in viciousness. Congratulations!

Could you please explain how Mince has spelt 'whiskey' incorrectly. I thought this was the correct way to spell Irish whiskey!

I had this shoved down my throat.

They only refer to the Scotish type.

You will soon get use to thier childish games.

You wish, Peter!

The Irish never joke about whiskey.

You, of course, would never indulge, would you, Peter?

I apologise, in advance.

Mince wasn't referring to Irish whiskey. He just repeated the wrong spelling that his father recently used in referring to Scottish whisky. Of course he will say he was referring to the Irish stuff, but I know better.
Nostalgia is not what it used to be. 😟

Er...actually, I meant indulge in childishness, Peter, but I see you sought to prove my point with a bit of a tantrum instead. Fair enough.

Tarquin, it must be strangely satisfying to insult both father and son in the same topic.   :D

How can, "Not liking shorts be childish."

If you want a tantrum just ask.

What happened to Minces "I will not have a go at anybody for a week." so much for promises.
