You better HAD be bloody grateful, young Tarks! We ummed and arred, and weighed up the pros and cons for weeks, before agreeing to make you something special. The arguments were fierce at times, and I was highly vociferous, but they decided to appoint you anyway.

Mince-face and the Peepster have given me Moderator status and powers.

Forgive them, Roger, for they know not what they do.

Actually, Tarquin is wrong. He has more than moderator powers. He is an admin, which means that if he wanted he could delete the entire board, delete all the members, or even demote us both to ordinary members.

However, the real reason is that there is work involved. I need the three of us every week or month or so to download the database in text format so that if the board does foul up, we have a backup.

ADMIN > FORUM MAINTENANCE > BACKUP DATABASE > DOWNLOAD

Make sure you click "Save the table structure." And then keep the file safe.

You can see why I didn't even bother considering Roger.

I'm thinking I might just delete the entire board instead.  8)

You think I take instructions? PAH!

If I'd stuck to instructions all my life, I'd have missed out on wonders such as toasted peas.
I apologise, in advance.

There is no admin password. It's asking for your own password.

Oh. Cool!

If you don't want to be an admin, you can promote yourself in your profile.

Hmmm! No, no - it's all right. Wouldn't like to come across as an ungrateful beggar. I'll give the megalomania a shot for a day or two. Anyone got a problem with that? HUH???

Have been away for two days but now i will be watching you with your new status
