Having enjoyed the company of many of my fellow cartoonists over the years, I've discovered (usually at the end of a convivial evening, incorporating a few beers and wines) that an arguably high percentage of them appear to my untrained ear to be equally talented musically. I've long since been acutely envious of this, being one who escaped that particular net many decades ago, after a thankfully brief (my family may argue it was not brief enough) flirtation with a violin in my pre-teens. I've never graduated beyond a kazoo since.
So, this morning, thanks to Google and Bach (and minutes...minuets?...of innocent fun), I'm delighted to offer the opening bars of my forthcoming symphony... I'm now off to the fridge to treat myself to a Magnum Opus. 😎
