Some of you may remember my fascination with the work of Bob Ross---the American TV artist who produced finished landscapes within his nightly 30-minute slot. He's been back on BBC 4 for a while now and getting impressive viewing figures. Apparently, this is because of "Lockdown" and people desperately looking for creative ways to fill in their time. Look, there's no point in denying that his stuff is pretty cheesy but he has an extremely clever technique and a wonderful way of putting his enthusiasm across. I find his programmes, well, soothing.
