Earth Day

The Snowshoe (Varying) Hares showed their faces this Earth Day, looking for anything green. They vary in colour with the seasons.

There were a lot of hares around where I lived up in the Highlands and they would turn pure white when the Winter came. Sadly, this didn't protect them from the local gamekeeper's shotgun. He was very fond of hare pie.

Since then a pair of Canada Geese and a beaver has shown up. The snow is slowly retreating here finally starting to feel like spring.

It seems like most of the whole world has had enough of this land and resource grabbing murderous strife. I actually am hopeful that it will stop.

This morning it was a skunk. Almost woke up to the explosion but not quite, had a series of skunk scenario dreams instead, one of them telling myself you don't want to wake up to this, it's even worse in real life LOL
