Our first award, Tarquin!

I'd like to donate the prize artwork to Malcolm to save him smashing his house up and taking it out on his family.

You actually think that would make it LESS likely?
I apologise, in advance.

I hope I'm not too late to enter. I think 'Suggest your own speech bubbles' are the best feature of this new forum.

Sadly, Peepmaster has already won, and sent the artwork to Malky to placate him.

Sadly, Peepmaster has already won...

Well I think he deserved to win.

It's still brilliant, Diane. I love the way you cleverly, and almost invisibly, weave "four-eyed muppet" into your scripts now.
Nostalgia is not what it used to be. 😟

I wasn?t expecting to win Mince ? just to participate is honour enough for me.

I am also waiting for better prizes before I do my greatest lines, there must come a day when Mince offers up his collection of toenails in a jar as a reward.

Come up with your own speech bubbles for the following strip:

Honest Abdul: "Here's a second-hand book called "Fantastic Ways to Insult People"."
Beau Peep: "Second Hand? You mean someone's read it before?"
Honest Abdul:  "Yes, I did, and I've learned some great tips"
Honest Abdul:  "You four-eyed Muppet!"
Nostalgia is not what it used to be. 😟

Diane, I see you used the phrase 'four-eyed moppet ' rather than the customary four-eyed muppet that we have all grown to love. Is this a trans-Atlantic thing, like you people in the Americas call your mums 'Mom'?

Peepsie - isn't it a bit greedy trying to win the prize twice?
I apologise, in advance.

Maybe Diane hasn't got a letter "U" on her keyboard. They call rubbish "Trash". Trash hasn't got a "U" in it. "Rubbish" has!

. . . when Mince offers up his collection of toenails in a jar as a reward.

Way too heavy to send by post.

A moppet is a term of affection whereas a muppet is a trademarked puppet ? I thought the rest of you must have got mixed up. Moppet is way funnier.  ;D

Affection? That's where you're getting it wrong!  ;D

Poor Beau, I didn't know you were all picking on him - you cruel gits.  >:(

I hope he dosn't think I too was trying to pick on him and only failed because I was U-less.

I don't know whether these esteem things are meant to be confidential, but I've added a point to Tarquin... not that it's made much difference though...  :(
