I see what you mean about  ::) being geeky, Vulch. That's how I sense he is. The emoticon,  ::) to me concisely reflects my feelings about many of his postings. You know, when you think "What a pancake flipper!" kind of thing. So I thought  ::) would be a good substitute for actually spelling out his name.
Nostalgia is not what it used to be. 😟

I agree with you, Peeps, but..... don't you think  ::) is too nice to represent ..... son of Peter... we need something more in keeping with our (not very good) impression of him. Peter isn't very forthcoming with  ::)'s appearance, so he must be worse than we thought.

I (myself, personally..) think he must look a bit like Jerry Lewis in the Nutty Professor (before he takes his potion). What do the rest of you think?

Yeah, but the icon ::) looks like it represents the feeling "Good grief, what a winkle!" I think it does the job admirably. Anyway, ::) is bound to come along with a smart-arse answer.  ::)

That's so, so true!
