Private Message for Roger Kettle

Roger - do you think we should definitely offer a mug as a prize in the "101 Things" competition? Maybe we could just say "?1 off" or something. It does seem rather generous. Or perhaps the winner pays his/her own postage?

Another idea - all entrants get 25p off a mug?

If we do give a whole mug away free, including postage, could you judge it? If I judge it Mince will only pull a face when he doesn't win and say it's rigged.  ::) It'll look fairer if it comes from you.

Good idea, Nige

I think we'll get Tarks to judge it though, since he doesn't seem to mind being unpopular.

And 20p off for entrants. Let's not get carried away.

Love to all your birds,

Roger
I apologise, in advance.

Thanks for responding so quickly, Roger. You've certainly changed your tune about Tarquin if you think he's capable of being a judge. Still, you're the boss, and at least you didn't suggest that other buffoon who shall be nameless  ::)

Shall I ask Tarquin, or do you want to do it? It'll sound more like he was first choice if you do. Perhaps you can give him a sweetener in some way. Tell him how much you admire his cartoons perhaps. That worked last time.

Cheers,

Peepmaster

Incidentally, Nige . . .

Stop wearing those short skirts: let's not give Mince unnecessary ammunition.

This is worrying. I don't remember making either of those posts.

Sorry Roger ? I overstepped my privileges as a member of the Beau Peep forum and read your private message. I?m very ashamed.

Just flutter your eyelashes, Diane, and you'll find I can forgive pretty much anything, when it comes to a female. Doeful eyes have saved many a bird from a ticking-off when irritating mistakes have been made.
