It's good news week
« on: May 21, 2008, 07:56:02 AM »
...most of my kitchen ceiling fell down at 5.30 this morning.  The good news is that the unearthly crash/bang/wallop which woke me would normally have scared the **** out of me but that had already been accomplished by sharing Diane's stomach bug for the past 3 days...

I must be immune to all these bugs. My wife and kids, all have had this stomach bugs, but as of yet I have not.  But I hope all of you that are sick get better soon, because its not a nice thing to have. (I was up to my ears in Dioralite and Imodium for days, not a nice place to be) <-

Diamond got a stomach bug early, it normally happens on a Thursday, hence the early arrival, or falling if you like, of the roof.

It was the ceiling! (The roof does it on Sundays).

What a lousy thing to happen Diamond. It is a good thing you haven't been using the kitchen.

I hope you can get it fixed soon.  :(

Psychologists would be interested in this thread. Diane extends a sympathetic ear, while the menfolk all make light of it.
