I thought that golf was a non-contact sport.
I was wrong.

The big girlie is referring to an incident which took place today during our weekly golf outing. After he'd made a very unsportsmanlike comment about a putt I'd just missed, I attempted to smack him on the rear end with my baseball cap. (A rather natty cream and tan affair with a General Custer logo, by the way). Anyway, somehow I hit his index finger and it started to bleed. Like I say, he's a big girlie.
Having re-read the above, I don't come out of this covered in butchness, either.

Walking up and down a big field with a bat and ball defines you both as being 'girlies'!

Roger, if you're going to get violent and start physically assaulting your opponents, why don't you give Mince a game?

Mince wouldn't be seen dead on a golf course.

He might be eventually. Especially if Roger was really angry.

Do you know, I've never seen Roger angry? It would take a complete and utter buffoon with the charisma of a whelk to do that I'd imagine.

Are you sure you don't fancy a round of golf with him?

I bathe in the waters of Lake Placid and I've always been frustratingly laid back. Ask my sister---it used to annoy the hell out of her.

Speaking as a complete and utter buffoon and girlie with the charisma of a wilk (yes wilk), I think I've been quite close to success in that department.
By the way, to put matters straight, let me make it known that, however amusing the baseball cap assault might appear to those not directly involved, it didn't half smart.

I'm holding onto my purse until we have confirmation of soap.  :\
I apologise, in advance.
