How amusing.  ..0 Funnily enough, I saw a product in the local supermarket today that reminded me of you. It was a sliced loaf, extra-thick.

I don?t know this particular situation, but generally I think the governments should stop giving corporate tax breaks to companies who export jobs to other countries unless it is on a fair exchange programme and I would go so far as to implement stiff fines on those companies sending jobs to countries with high rates of human rights violations.

Peepmaster, did you buy that loaf or was your skirt too short to bend over and pick it up?

We actually call them kilts up here, Diane. I think Mince is trying to alienate all those of us from north of the border...

No, I didn't buy the loaf. I was too distressed at seeing constant reminders of Mince everywhere. I was especially upset when confronted by pilchards.

Every time I hear a conservative politician banging on about the free market and how the government which governs best is the one which governs least I want to get out my Sweeney Todd razor and send them to the mincer.

In the US at the moment, with the multi-trillion dollar baleout of their financial system, they're equating it to being under a socialist regime, the State buying into former private companies, effectively nationalizing them. To Yanks this is equivalent to having news of your house repossession on the front page of the newspaper. It's a national shame, this giant capitalist emporium being bought over by the taxpayer.

Whenever I meet a conservative who's on their hind legs talking about socialism and individualism, I ask who fights their wars and who arrests their criminals? Is it a privately run army, or a national force totally paid for by the taxpayer?

Answer: (b) That's socialism, that is.

That's been there for weeks, if not months! It was obviously someone who hasn't got a life and has far too much time on his hands....
