Okay, he's a North African nomad and hopelessly inept at everything he does but it was no longer a comical image. These days, I focus on other areas of The Nomad's lunacy like his book-writing and business ventures.

Why the A rabs
A lot of folk who go to watch them are called Rab, as in Rab C Nesbitt. It's A "Rab's" club. At one of their AGMs they decided to shorten this to A rabs, and it stuck.
