After starting my collection about ten years ago, I just bought Beau Peep book #2 and now have the whole collection!
I promised to leave all my Beau Peep books to my oldest son a few years ago when he had me at the top of a Ferris wheel on the agreement that he would stop swinging the seat back and forth; he is going to be very happy too.
Yey for me! ;D
-
Hi Diane, it's a great feeling when you finally obtain what you have been waiting for!
I waited (almost) thirty years for the second part of a story I read when I was little. I wasn't disappointed with the outcome either!
Yay for you too!
;D ;D ;D
-
You can't leave it there, Tom! What was the story?

Have you got "Beau Peep and the Temple of the Golden Ark"?
-
It was Bo-peep.
-
I've got a new book out....

If you buy this, you already have the complete set. ..0

Nige, when I click on this, all I get to see is the cover (I've tried on that OTHER site, as well). However, I would like to say that it's the funniest book cover I've ever seen and I highly recommend purchasing this side-splitting collection. If I work out how to do it, I'll buy one. Honest.
-
There should be a little arrow above the book cover - probably 2 - a forward arrow, and a back arrow.
You can magnify/reduce by using the + or - signs.
If it works out efficiently, it could be a publishing possibility for future Beau Peep books...?
-
Okay, I tried to buy a copy but, when I tried to put in my address, it insisted that I lived in an American state and refused to let me enter "Fife". I therefore give up.
-
Don't know why that should have happened, Roger. I'll send you one.
If it becomes a problem, I may think about stocking up myself, and fulfilling orders from my own stock.
It'll be on Amazon shortly, once I've given the okay.
-
The preview was a little slow to load, so I reckon Roger may have run out of patience. I do hope Mince doesn't read page two - you'll never live it down. Still, it didn't put me off, and I've ordered my copy. But then you know that, Peepsie, because you emailed me a thank you note just seconds after you got my money. Quick work!
Don't stay up too late printing it - I can wait.
-
Oh, and congratulations, Diane, especially to your son for his skilful extortion. I have Book 14...somewhere...I think...
-
Thank goodness it worked for you, Tarks! Yes, the previews do take a while to load.
The thank-you note is automated. I wrote it in advance. It's all down to Lulu!
(Are you referring to "easily"... I just noticed... :( ).

I feel so cheated! I never suspected for a second. Although now you mention it, it didn't sign off with your usual "Up yours, The Peepmeister".
(Are you referring to "easily"... I just noticed... :( ).
That'll be the one. Glad I spotted it before you started printing my copy.
-
I'll swap it in Ludlow...

I'll swap it in Ludlow...
No, no, no - if you're going to fix it then I want the original edition. It'll be worth an extra couple of quid when I eventually flog it on ebay.
-
Just got an email telling me that your book has been despatched to me today, Peepsie, which is excellent service, considering I only ordered it on the 14th, five days ago.
But the even more impressive thing is that it actually arrived on Saturday (17th).
You truly are a man ahead of your time, Peepsie!
Not had a chance to read it all yet, but a review shall surely follow.
-
Thanks, Tarquin.
I'm going to give you the revised version too, when I see you in Ludlow. I will also buy you a pint as I've reduced the retail price of the book a fraction. (Same goes for you, Roger).
-
I assume the revised version is without the grammatical mistake. If so, can I have Tarquin's unrevised version?
-
No chance - it'll be worth millions now! ;D
