If you are experiencing the heavy snow at the moment I hope it's effects aren't causing any problems for you. According to the news it is quite severe.
Around here the snow seems to have long gone, and the skies are clear tonight so it looks as though we may get a touch of frost for tomorrow morning.
Just thought I'd say keep warm and safe :)

I'll have no problem keeping warm, Tom. ;D It's going to be 33 degrees Celsius here today, 44 in the west of Sydney. :o Think you could send just a little bit of that coolness down here? Safe may be a different matter though, with a few bushfires North of us. They're far enough away at the moment not to be a problem, but we're getting the smoke because of the way the winds blowing, which isn't very pleasant. A day for doing very little, methinks. I've already been for my bush walk. Somehow, I think that'll be my lot for the day as far as exerting myself goes - maybe a swim later.
You all out sledging?
-
Not much of a frost here this morning, but the grass seems a bit whiter than it should be.. According to the weather most of the UK should be dry, sunny, frosty, icy and cold today.
Joan, I hope you manage to keep safe and cool in your part of the world.

That was nice. You stumped everyone there - don't know how to react to that!

Yeah - I'm already angry today, so we don't need provocative stuff like this.

No snow here in Queensland, either, but I'll keep my eyes on the skies. Tricky chap, Johnny Snow.
-
Isn't there huge flooding in Queensland? I saw something in the news which was warning residents about crocodiles swimming around the streets. That's nice, I thought. You pop out to collect the milk from your doorstep and end up inside a rather large reptile.
-
No, Malc and Joan would throw a bridle on them - stand on their backs and have them swim to the other side of the street to keep their shoes dry.
-
Have you been drinking, Di?
-
Would it help if I did?
-
On this site, absolutely!

I never visit this site sober. It's just not worth the risk.

And yet you always seem to be logged in when I visit. Odd!
