Well, there's no hope for me. I LOVED that in 1967, and it still cheers me up to listen to it. :-[

...and having had a life-long desire to be able to whistle anything, I think anyone who can whistle looks cool enough to me...

I think it's a guy who's acting. It was someone else who whistled the song, I believe. It just seems so bizarre.
