Don't be too hard on me. It's my first go.

Very good. You could do a whole series.
I would change the guy who is saying "You're completely dotty" from a period to a set of speech marks.
-
It's a good gag and the artwork is terrific.
-
Oh my sides.
-
For such a simple concept the gags have to be twice as clever. Weekend Mag did this way back in the sixties. It as a pretty amazing and courageous idea but things were different then.
In the area between the pages (and I mean in the little page margin where the STAPLES are) they used to print tiny symbols -a dot, a triangle, a square, for instance- around which they constructed a gag.
They never advertised this, it was up to the readers to find them. My dad and I used to read Weekend just for those little symbols. If I remember rightly there was also a tiny little hidden man you had to find every week on the cover.

So it's not original. Dammit.
My other idea was an orangutan who delivered beer to school kids by disguising it as a comic, but I'm having a writer's block with that one.
-
Titbits did that one in the 70s. It got canned after Thatcher ("Thatcher thatcher beer snatcher") banned free school beer to the kiddies in '81, whether delivered by great apes or no.
F*ckin' bitch. Eton pupils are under their desks by 11am, but no, beer's too good for the state system.
-
How about two friends - Dennis, an ex-SAS toaster (with a limp), and Janet, a beautiful but unappreciated toe-nail clipping (whose father, unbeknown to her, is still alive and fighting in Vietnam in a time vortex) - who together daily tackle the rising tide of filth that is text messaging without a seatbelt and watching Pop Idol whilst possessing a brain.
-
watching Pop Idol whilst possessing a brain.
Stretching credibility a little too far.
-
Am I missing something? I didn't see nuffunk.
-
Malc, that free school beer was warm and smelled like vomit - I don't know what it tasted like 'cos I refused to drink it, so the evil b@stards made me beer monitor, and I had to poke the straws in every day. It's the only good thing wot Thatcher done!
Mince, I'd like to see a colour version.
Fyodor, is your monitor turned on (not your beer monitor I hasten to add)?
-
Yes, Tarq. I'm assuming that there was meant to be a cartoon visible. Not on my monitor there wasn't.
-
Ah...now...I think I know what's happened, Fy - Mince has likely been stealing broadbands, and, as a result, the picture in his initial posting has been been removed by the Interweb police, and he has been fined many cookies.
There's been a spate of this kind of thing recently, apparently.
