Joan, this add just begs too many questions: cucumbers are usually bought with a cellephane wrapping, which gets taken off before the cucumber is sliced!; a cucumber is usually peeled before slicing for sandwiches: who, with any sense of hygiene, would put a cucumber that had been used for such a purpose BACK into a 'fridge with food WITHOUT returning it to its 'food' status???
Having said that, it was a brilliant concept by the advertisers.  ;D ;D ;D ;D

Maybe they should have released it here, Vulch.  Cucumbers aren't usually wrapped here.  I did think about the peeling and washing bit - who would put it back in the fridge anyway?  Apart from anything else, bit cold, don't you think?

Still thought it was very funny - the look on her face!
