Title: Being in charge
Post by: The Peepmaster on August 24, 2009, 05:12:53 PM
Being in charge can take it out of you, what with the responsibility etc.

I wonder if anyone else fancied being in charge of the site, just for a day, say.

I know it probably wouldn't make much difference, but I imagine it'd be a good feeling for some people to have such a position of power, albeit briefly.

Is "droit de seigneur" involved?

Well, he does help now and again, but we don't hear much from the pilchard these days.

Roger, if you can find a virgin on this board, and can run faster than her, go for it!

...And I've enough on my plate at the moment too, so it's a no from me as well.

Talking about biscuits, I remember something we used to do as kids. There was a biscuit by the name of "Ginger Nuts" (no jokes, please) and you held it in the palm of your right hand and then bashed it against your left elbow. If it broke into three pieces, you made a wish. Did anyone else do this?
Maybe I should just go.....

Look how fantastic I am. The board's been dead for ages, so I post a sensible topic and the replies flood in.

Meanwhile, back at Minceville.... ..0

Why would anyone ever want to do that?
