I'll be flying out in a couple of days and may have no Net access before then, so I bid you a fond farewell until I log on in Oz.
Thanks to Nige and Roger, (who makes great soup, by the way) and sorry to Steve, I would have liked to get a meeting on the way down, but the arbitrary nature of my travel plans worked against it.
Didn't get a bright sunny day in the entire three weeks, it was dreich and grey throughout, but I still love Britain, and it was great to see my breath steaming in front of me this cold Bristol morning. Haven't seen that in many a year.
Speak soon!!

Good riddance, you poof. Try and get some pool practise before you come and embarrass me again.
Oh, and safe journey. ;D

That Nigel just oozes charm. Safe journey, Malc, and hope we meet up again next year.

It better be my turn next flippin' year! That's two year running he's passed my house at over 70mph. A guy could get paranoid...
I'd go out to Australia, but with what I've got it's out of the question. About £8.50.
Not that I care, but safe home, McGookin.

He told me he would be passing the end of your road, Tarks.
I didn't mean what I said, Malcolm. It was meant to say "Haste Ye Back".

I'm back.
Nothing at all has changed. In fact the remains of the cup of hot chocolate I made in my Beau Peep mug just prior to catching the flight to the UK was still sitting on top of the computer box when I got back! Also, the same bag of oranges which had just started to soften and decay were still in the bottom of the fridge.
I drove just short of 3,000 miles when I was over in the UK, from Dundee to Dorset to London and all points inbetween, convinced that whilst I was having my great adventure, things must surely have evolved in Australia, but no.
-
Well if you wait a little longer, something will be evolving on your oranges.

Well if you wait a little longer, something will be evolving on your oranges.
Is that a euphemism?

No, O R A N G E S! Have you not got your spectacles on? I SAID, HAVE YOU NOT GOT YOUR SPECTACLES ON!!!!
-
Add more water to it, Vulch!
-
Welcome back, Malc! Everybody probably thought your Beau Peep mug was too precious to touch.
-
Yes, that must be it.
