Title: Photo prize winner

A workmate of mine dabbles in photography in his spare time, mainly wildlife/nature subjects. A very talented man, this one took a magazine prize recently.

There's something very "Gary Larsen" about it don't you think?

Ant: "Me and THIS army that's who!"
Ant: "Bullriders..pfffft, check THIS out."
Ant: "Hi Ho Slitherer..Awaaaaay!"

Snake: "Oh, very funny Brendan, why don't you use your hand to slap yourself"
Snake: "C'mon girls, if he had Tommy Hilfiger written on his butt you'd all be wearing one"

My daughter wants to know what kind of snake that is.  ;D

That's a terrific photo, Diane. I've no idea what kind of snake that is or if it's poisonous. Is the photographer still alive?

Just a Garter Snake (non poisonous).
Hmmm.
Ant (of the female variety, and possibly blonde):  Ahhh, you wanted me to wear a garter belt

Apparently the photographer sat and watched for a while as the ant walked almost the length of the snake and then back again with the snake never moving a muscle.

That photo looks similar to one I took. The snake looks familiar too...
