On April 21st, in the Trivia quiz thread, I posted a screenshot showing Tarks being logged in twice. Back then, Billthehut was the latest member, and that is also clearly visible in the screenshot. To save time, here's the image again:
...April 21st...

But look now... we have a new member, but still the count is 123:

The question is... who has left?
-
Looks like a case for...
Perhaps it's connected to the poster "B'Aye" who has apparently posted 300000 times (but really just 3).
-
I'm not as good looking as magnum, but I can put 'pi' after my name (military qualification and stands for petroleum installations).
Having reviewed the total posts scores recorded for each visible forum (including the 'Welcome to ..'), this gives 26,910 posts.
Counting each individual's total posts score gives 26,938, a difference of 28 missing posts.
When counting the actual visible posts for everyone, this gives 26,883 (including the 14 in 'Welcome to ..'), a difference of 27.
There are therefore 55 missing posts somewhere.
The culprits are:
Name Posts visible difference
The Peepmaster 4570 4568 2
Tarquin Thunderthighs lll 3527 3522 5
Mince 3457 3429 28
Roger Kettle 2788 2780 8
Vulture 2157 2156 1
peter 1673 1667 6
Tom 1027 1022 5
There must be another world us lesser mortals are not privvy to.

Thanks, Bill, but wait...
:o Does this mean I have posted five more posts that I don't know about?
..0 The shocked smiley above looks a bit funny.
:-\ Your investigation still doesn't explain the missing member.
??? Can you explain more about the military pi - or is it top secret?
:-X Talking of top secret, I think I may know where those missing posts may be...
-
Diane C.B.P.F.C. [stands up] - yup, she was sitting on them.
-
The amount of stuff I understand on this site has now dropped below 30%.

I can't understand these mysteries.

:o Does this mean I have posted five more posts that I don't know about? Unless you wern't thinking when you posted them?

:-\ Your investigation still doesn't explain the missing member. I have no idea, but I am still confused why Wild West Will signed in a few days ago and has still not posted anything. How rude is that?
??? Can you explain more about the military pi - or is it top secret? It's a technical qualification dealing with all things fuel-wise in the MOD. I've run a 2 fuel depots, been a Subject Matter Expert in fuel handling equipment, etc. Not a military secret.
:-X Talking of top secret, I think I may know where those missing posts may be...Of course you do - you posted them.
I can't understand these mysteries. Fibber!
Diane C.B.P.F.C. [stands up] - yup, she was sitting on them. There are no elusive posts from Diane.
-
You see - another mystery.
I was Wild West Will on the other forum, the older one. Maybe I logged in with the wrong username.
-
Do you forget who you are often?
-
Not very often, I don't think. I don't remember forgetting the other day either.
-
Maybe it's all 'an experiment'. Good grief, there has to be something more interesting to talk about?

It snowed in Oslo yesterday, but it is sunny and fine today.

I do remember that Oslo is the capital of czechoslovakia.

I do wonder what the next technology power source is going to be. We have only a finite source of fossil fuels and are reliant on hydrocarbons for our transportation way of life. Electric cars powered by batteries are only a stopgap, as the electricity has to be produced from the grid by mainly hydrocarbons. The fuel cell is a possible alternative. Any comments?

Where's Czechoslovakia?

I like Coffee Walnut Cake.

Today is a good day.

...except I don't have any Coffee Walnut Cake.

Where's Czechoslovakia? Doesn't it surround Oslo?
-
Nope
-
Did it really snow in Oslo yesterday?
-
My apologies to Vulture...My brief "nope" was in answer to Bil asking for a discussion on something or other, but in a completely different post.
It looked as if I was disagreeing with your question "Where's Czechoslovakia? Doesn't it surround Oslo?" which, as we all know, is correct.
-
Did it really snow in Oslo yesterday?
Yes, it did on Tuesday, but it's fine and sunny now. But the cost of a beer!!! About £10 a half litre.

Which one? I'm so confused right now. I dread to think how Roger is feeling - must be down to 20% by now.

Thanks for clearing that up, DL. I can stop looking for Oslo on my 1965 Readers' Digest atlas. ;D

If we all keep on at this rate, will Roger implode or vanish in a puff of smoke when he reaches 0%?
If so, who will know?

Hence even more confusion. I thought Vulture had changed her avatar to -- is that a jaguar?

Tom, I don't know who's worse, Roger or me. I haven't got a clue how to change any thing, insert anything, embed anything....... I CAN make bread, tho'.... ;D

Vulch, is that real bread - or breadmaker bread? (I can do the latter! 8))

Both! When my kids were younger (in the '70s, well before breadmakers were invented), they thought it was a treat to have shop-bought bread, cakes and biscuits! Now I'm on my own, I use a bread maker now because it makes a small loaf.
