And yet another holiday has snuck up on me. We have Thanksgiving this coming weekend in Canada - which means I get to cook a turkey. Have sweet potatoes/yams become popular in the UK since I left? They are great with brussles sprouts and stuffing.

I once wrote an awful joke for the "Horace" strip that I still cringe about 20 years on. Horace's Apache sidekick, Mojo, had prepared a meal of "dankies"---supposedly a type of bread made from yams. Horace's response was "I hate those yam dankies".
As I said, awful.

It's always an invaluable insight to read about such occurences in your many years of producing Beau Peep, Roger. As ever, such insights will always prompt fresh enquiries. I know I am often intrigued. Just out of interest, have you ever had a bare bottom in the strip?

I'm pretty sure Dennis has bared his bottom on at least one occasion.
