Since you helped me out with the potato sack joke about three meetings ago - someone keeps putting my name in the "Jokemaster" section of the sign up sheet. Normally you would only need to tell a joke about every 12 weeks, but because my joke was funny and some of the others were not only un-funny but rude - I am now on a bit of a run as a stand up comedian :-)
This week's joke:
I phoned up Sea World to find out about their holiday packages.
The customer service rep. said, “I can tell by how you talk, you must be a Toastmaster!”, would you mind repeating a few phrases for me?”
I said, “sure, If this gets me a discount on admission”
She said: “Say ‘Jump through a hoop’”.
I said in my clear Toastmaster voice, “Jump through a hoop”
Then she said: “Say “Do a back flip”.
Remembering my years of Toastmaster training I said, “Do a back flip” proudly and clearly.
She then thanked me and said, “This call will be used for training porpoises”.
