Blue Valentine - waited for a story - there was none - unless soft porn amuses you bypass this.

The greatest movie ever sold - Morgan Spurlock of Supersize me fame - he was adorable but not enough to carry this premise into a full length movie.

These were my last two inter-library loan movies.

Last movie I loved was The Hunger Games - didn't think I would like it but went for my daughter.

Here's another thing that annoys me (there seems to be quite a few these days)...film critics who take a line from the movie they're reviewing and use it to labour their point. Something like, for example, "Early in the film, Brad Pitt's character exclaims "What's going on here?" Well, I couldn't agree more". It's lazy, cliched and unforgivably bad writing.

You should check and see if your shoes are too tight.

Men In Black 3 (I saw it in 3D). I loved it. Yes, you can see a lot of it coming, but I just feel very comfortable with the franchise now, and the Baddie, Boris The Animal, is played by the chunky, specky one in Flight Of The Conchords, the musical comedy duo. Inspired casting.

In future, all movies will be 3D. Mark my words.

I saw The Lorax in 3D too. It was brilliant. Looking forward to the new Spiderman and the Disney/Pixar animated Brave.

Prometheus is dire, another film you get to the end of and think "So?".

Yes, reviews of Prometheus have been uniformly "meh". Such a pity.

Dark Knight Rises - Tediously, endlessly, hopelessly mindlessly boring. Boring. Boring. Boring.

So - you were not impressed, then?

I wish they had cut an hour out of this movie (almost 3 hours) then it would only have been boring. boring.

I thought the Batman movie was means to scare the American masses into believing that jails are good and the only way to share out the wealth more fairly will result in old Russian style communism or bloodthirsty French style revolution with a side order of the world going to hell.

Considering how long it was, there wasn't very much Batman in the film.

It should have been named "The Dark Knight pops in for a bit."
