How amazing yesterday to open the Manila Star newspaper, and amid all the stories of corruption, politics, workings of the bottom (I kid you not!), seeing Andy Capp staring out at me. It was the strip about a bridegroom's stag night, where Andy has found him tarred and feathered, chained to a lamp post, telling him "That's as good as marriage gets".

I am so proud to point at Roger's name and tell people: "He knows me!"
