It's a girl moose.

Surely it could be a boy moose that is unfortunately very small in the antler department? (plus it's very cold)   ;)

Peeps, you were the first person to swear on this site in 2013 and, incidentally, the last in 2012.

Are you imagining swear-words, Diane?

No, you surely said "H" "E" double hockey sticks. I saw them.

Gosh. I just did a Google search. It seems that "aitch-e-double-hockey-sticks" is considered a swear word by some, across the pond. I'm amazed.

Add the ball and you have a greeting.

Well there you go, you do win first swear of 2013 then.

I've done some research. Quite fascinating as I had no idea. One contributor actually uses the "hockey sticks" term too.

You're right. A lot of people say, "O, Hell" when I show up :-)

You might call it a very minor swear word. About on par with "damn." Not offensive, but still not something you would say in front of your mother :)

I am a mother, and I do not mind my kids ( the older ones ) saying damn or hell.

I love this! When my kids were young, I taught them every swear word I knew. If I used damn or hell, they knew I was in a good mood.  ;)
