I was bored so I did this. What can I say...it amused me.
-
It amused me too.
Although only 84% meat doesn't sound very good for ham.

I think Tesco's would settle for that.
-
No way! I'll have you know that Tesco's tinned ham is 99% meat: 60% pig, 39% horse.
The other 1% is, of course, made up from various horse tranquilisers.

I was going to say 'neigh', but on second thoughts, you're probably right! :D

I was more interested in the product alongside.
Is that really an "Instant Shed Mix"?

Indeed it is Peeps, well spotted. In fact such is the quality of our local Sainsbury's that it must come with all legal paperwork. For although the picture does not show it clearly, it is actually labeled "Ma shed mix".
-
I was bored, so I...took a pic of this too. Shopping really can be such fun, you just have to know where to look.

Don't be stupid. If you look above it at the label it clearly says "Mashed Potato Mix". Clearly they have run out of that product and stocked the shelves with the "Shed Mix", a product that should be in the Gardening Section.

Having done Internet shopping for the last few years, I can see I'm missing out on something here!
A few years back in the local Tesco, I watched a couple of lads, maybe 6 or 7 years old, remove all the
12 pack toilet roll packs, climb onto the shelf, then build up the packs in front of them, then wait for
the next unsuspecting shopper!
Wish I'd thought of it when I was 6! ;D

The usual jokes have surfaced.
"I just checked the Tesco burgers in my freezer...and they're off!"
"Despite the recent problems, Tesco's claim that burger sales remain stable"
"Get your Tesco burgers while you can... they won't be around furlong"
"99% of people are sick of hearing about the Tesco scandal...acording to a gallup poll."
"Tesco's are reducing the price of their burgers as they don't want to be saddled with them"
"I was asked if I wanted anything on my burger", I said "sure, a tenner each way"
"Just been to Tesco and bought a bottle of Bacardi, a bottle of Lamb's and some burgers so that's white rum, navy rum and Red Rum."
Newspaper Headline
"Cows protest against immigrants coming over and taking their jobs"
All very British in style.

I liked the news story last week about the two students who went into a Tesco's in Wales, dressed as a pantomime horse and shouting "Mummy?"
They were asked to leave.
-
The video was quite funny, especially when the security guard was faced with a pantomime horse lying down and refusing to move.

That was a bold and dangerous move with a sausage machine just feet away!

Update: Not even the vegetarians are safe, as Tesco's veggie burgers are found to contain uniquorn.

Things are now getting serious, apparently they found traces of zebra in Tesco's barcodes.

I don't know why I deserved a wince, Vulture, when Max got 5 smiley faces...
I almost don't want to share the latest news which was all over the tv and radio this evening, relating to these ready-made lasagnes that are so bad for your health. Apparently they're low in fat, but they have a high Shergar content.

Oh, Jack, Jack.
Okay---I laughed.

I find that rather Red-Rumbelievable.
