There is no need to grovel – but while you’re down there could you tie my shoelace please.
I had a busy but nice birthday - I had to do the banking and newspaper stuff for the dance club as we had our recital last week and there was a ton of money to deposit (a lot of it in change). Then it was off to the city for my daughter's dance competiton - this was the Musical Theatre one. She and another girl were sick and looked it - but the dark circles under their eyes worked to their advantage as they were doing an orphan piece from "Annie" - got a better mark than at the last competition :)
Then I had my sister's birthday money burning a hole in my pocket so stopped by the greenhouse and bought a lot of plants for my tubs.
Came home and hubby cooked us a nice steak supper - my 21 year old son baked me a birthday cake and my daughter bought me a nice big towel for aqua-size which should start up next week. My other son sent me an email at 2 in the morning - he fell asleep after work. He got a good summer job in the city as a surveyer's assistant - they pay him well and give him 12 hour days, six days a week - that should cover all next year's Uni costs and plus keep him out of trouble :)
