I know, I know, I've neglected you all for a long time. I'm really sorry. Feel very bad, especially not keeping up with those not on FB. How are you Roger?
No excuses - spend too much time on emails, FB and Twitter. Trouble is, people talk to me through all of those and by the time I've answered them, it's time to get on with whatever I should really be doing. #socialbutterfly
Anyway, I promise I will include BP in my daily attentions from now on. There's an awful lot to catch up on, but I will try.

There's really not that much to catch up on.
Nothing worthwhile, anyway.

Welcome back, Joan. I don't think you've missed TOO much. Yesterday, in Scotland, we had some sunshine. It's gone now.
-
Hi Joan, I'm back in the UK again. From memory, we've missed two opportunities to meet face to face, once in Oz, once over here. It's got to happen.
I do have special badges I had made a while back which I give to people I've met in both the UK and Oz. On these boards, Peeps, Roger and BillTheHut are halfway to a badge.
-
Graham Arnold's had a great season, and I know you know him, so if you can persuade Graham to give me a job as an assistant coach, I'll go back to Oz for a three month trial. ;D

I can't afford to go to Oz just to get a full badge. Can we not just make it alternate locations. I've moved already.
p.s. Are you still intending to reside in the UK?

Hello, Roger! Blink and you miss it, huh? I mean the sun - gradually catching up on what's been happening in BP. We had a partial solar eclipse this morning, apparently. Told not to look at it, but I had a sneak peek - couldn't see anything happening and one quick glance was enough to make me understand why they said don't look!

Ah, Jack, there has to be something in here to make me smile. Quite a lot, I would think! Hope you're keeping well.

Hi Malc, you're certainly whizzing backwards and forwards between the two. I am going to make a concerted effort to get that badge! Could take a couple more years to get the UK one, though. Let me know when you're back in Oz. Sorry I didn't get to see any of you when I was over in the UK last year. You're not the only ones who missed out. I was all over the place, including Switzerland, France, England and Wales - whistlestop tour! Was exhausted when I got back, but well worth it.

Hmmm, I think I know what the answer would be - "In your dreams, mate!" Graham's not one for mincing words. No, actually, it would probably be even more succinct than that. ;-D xx

Bill, I've still got a foot in each camp at the moment, I qualify as a resident in both countries, but by about 2015 I would hope to be a UK resident who visits Oz regularly. Sadly I have a brother seriously ill in Crosshouse hospital (Kilmarnock) at the moment, my last two visits have coincided with terminal illnesses to siblings. I'm beginning to wonder if fate is trying to tell me something

Sorry to hear that your trips are of a sad nature.

I was sorry to hear on Facebook that your brother passed away Malc. <3

Awful news, Malc. My sympathies.

You have a gift for words, Malc---that was a very moving and eloquent piece. It sounds like Clive was a remarkable man. I hope Thursday goes as well as these things possibly can.
