We just had an 18 hour power outage. The wind was crazy in Alberta - setting records at the Edmonton airport 120 KMH - took out a lot of powerlines in a lot of places.

Life is better with electricity.  :)

It is unusually mild - just going down to about -5C at night so it wasn't so bad. I hung out at the library and I had a nice afternoon talking to friends who had the same idea.
