Look at the above two strips. Honest Abdul (the irony here being that he is not honest) sells plungers to the nomad, pretending that they are a "Human Fly" kit, but humorously they are just plungers and not actually what Honest Abdul says they are. But then in the next strip, they are being used to scale walls. Surely this negates the humour of the first strip.

Between you and me, Mincey, we're really making Roger's night here.
-
I'm only on book four. I do hope these oversights aren't going to become the norm.
-
You've missed the point, Mince. This symbolises the struggle of Man. Whatever comes his way, he must push on regardless. The wall represents life itself and....oh, p*** off
-
Yep, Tarks, I think you're right.
-
This just gets worse! Look at this one:

No way can the rope-tied end of the cannon act as a counterweight for the heavy shooty-end, whatever it's called. That cannon would just topple over - it's a fact of physics.

Now notice how the artist has realised and has quickly changed the design of the cannon to cover up his earlier mistake.

Big mouth.
You're welcome.
-
Yep, you got me over a barrel there.

Roger your explanation is just wonderful, so precise and clear

There is another strip in which Beau Peep becomes Escargot's secretary and reads his file. He says he might make a few slight alterations to his file and then asks: "How do you slightly alter 'Utterly Brainless Idiot?'"
If he tippexed out the top part of the "l" in Brainless, except for a dot, to make it an "i", and changed the ending "s" to a "t", and then changed the "iot" in "Idiot" to "eas", he would have "Utterly Brainiest Ideas". So the humour in this one doesn't work well for me.
-
Roger could also have torn it up.
but he did not.
It works for me
