I am pleased to be the first one to write on the board in 2015.
Hope 2015 is a good one for everyone.

Ha! I wrote on it earlier... In lemon juice. If you hold a lit match under the forum, you'll see what I wrote!
Happy New Year, Diane, and a'body else!
-
Happy New Year everyone. May it be a healthy and prosperous one.
Ps.
Dear Santa
Could you please bring me a new iPad this coming Xmas? I accidentally set fire to mine. I believe it was a special lemon fragranced edition, but I don't want that one again.
:'(

Well, I've already wished you all a Happy New Year in the "Saloon Bar" section but I can't see any harm in doing so again. Have a great one, everyone. May your wishes all come true and, in one case, may you successfully return to the surface after your first dive!

Or as my nephew's tee shirt advises, "never give up on your dreams - keep sleeping"
-
I've also already wished everyone Happy New Year on another thread. Please go to Rob's Horace thread to see it. Thank you.

Cheers Roger, I have now had to sit and gaze in jealousy, at a months worth of the dive clubs beautiful underwater pics of some of the finest murk, silt and non-identifiable creatures ever captured. Hopefully I start proper in a fortnight, after exam time.
Now, how do I sink again?

You can team up with Roger and go to Loch Ness.
With your diving skills and his ability to exploit people with diving skills, you'll discover the Loch Ness Monster in no time. I hope so, as I've just completed my 115th portrait of Nessie in Scots pine using my new wood burning kit and I want to shift them before I peg out.

using my new wood burning kit
So that'll be a packet of matches then?
;)

I've never believed that a wood-burned Loch Ness monster exists. I mean, people claim all sorts of things but there's no photographic evidence.

It was quite amusing trying to get the knack. At one point I was like a fairground goldfish...belly up after 5 mins. I blame it on my skinny frame and an ill fitting stability vest. Great fun though.
:)

I've often blamed my beer gut on my ill-fitting stability vest. It's the only way they'll serve me, after the last stability incident at the Wheatsheaf.
