Who is credited with the most parts in films
-
Lassie?
-
It's got to be Arnie - most of his parts being robotic.
-
"Film extra" was in quite a few.
-
Which reminds me about the gag about who has appeared most in Coronation Street....
Willie Eckaslike.
-
Aaaargh!
Willie Eckerslike is the name of my cartoon strip character what I am developing.
Willie has been in development since about 2000, and is named in tribute to that often mentioned Coronation Street bloke.
He doesn't count in this debate, because he's never been seen.

You'll have to change him to an EastEnders character and call him Lee Vitaaht

do you want to know the answer
-
Wouldn't be Audrey Hepburn by any chance, Peter, with 48 film roles to her credit, followed by Jack Nicholson with 46? Third place is the one that took me by surprise - it's Barbra Streisand with 45.
-
48? That's nothing. John Wayne acted in over 150 films.
Trivia: What phrase did John Wayne repeat most often in any movie or combination of movies

Not sure he acted in any of them, Malc, and I speak as a fan.
Is "Awww!" a phrase?
And you're right - I really should read the names of websites I research to see what list I'm actually looking at - the stats I quoted were for roles these actors didn't get....which kinda explains Barbra Streisand, much as I adore her.
Peter, dear fellow, do tell!
-
Kenneth Williams or Hattie Jacques?
-
Hattie Jaques - a fellow? How dare you! You really don't know anything about women, do you?
Stewart Granger or Cary Grant?
-
Nobody's going to get the John Wayne one. It's a bit of trivia I came up with myself.
No, it's not "the hell I will" or "fill yore hand you son of a b*tch" or "get offa yore horse and drink yore milk".
It's from Wings Of Eagles and Wayne plays a paralyzed flyer. He tries to will himself to walk by concentrating on moving his big toe. He constantly repeats the mantra "I'm gonna move that toe" as he stares at it.
-
OK you poor people
Christopher Lee in over 240 films

Although that man with the gong must have been in more
