Title: The view from my window
Post by: Diane CBPFC on September 13, 2015, 11:32:06 PM
Autumn came quickly this year - I have attached a photo of the view from my home office.

Our town had a giant blow-up screen outdoor movie night again Friday night - this year the movie was "inside out".  The movie is free and so are the hot dogs and corn on the cob, I was there doing free face painting for the library and my daughter helped out with free crafts for the kiddies. You could buy movie snacks and that money goes to things in the community like the skate park and splash park. This is the fourth year of it and it has become such a lovely tradition for the families with young kids - and me who enjoys a good kiddie show as much as anything else.

I love autumn and Fall Fairs :-)

That all sounds rather wonderful, Diane. I love autumn too.

I saw "Inside Out". I rather enjoyed it, though it was a little slow in the middle.

Autumn looks lovely where you are, Diane. I don't suppose you could send me a few Canadian forests in the post so that I could see the same view from my home office?

So you have a forest at the end of your garden?

Typical...

You never could see the wood for the trees, could you?

Sounds like a great night, Diane.  I loved 'Inside Out', even the middle ;)

I am surprised so many adults have seen this movie.  :)

I did the face painting with two young women - we were there painting faces solid for three+ hours and ended the evening in a rush before dark so some kids just got a mustache.

I thought it would be fun to offer some characters from the movie - this was before most people including myself had seen the show so a lot of kids wanted to be the green "Disgust"

I would have been grey for 'Disillusionment'.

Actually, forget grey, I need green for Envy.

In the context of talking about you, it's obviously a 'star'.

Not at all, that was it's original meaning. It's not my fault people think the worst of me.
