Having now had 2016 for nigh on 21hrs, here's a picture of the road out of our village. Not as scenic as Diane's, but it has a certain...charm !

I drove the last guests home at about six thirty a.m. and poured them into their respective houses, which was admittedly a low point for a sober person. The high point was just after seven a.m. when I decided to have a long walk along the beach. A good start for 2016.
