I take great pleasure in introducing this new word to you. It comes from our friends across the Atlantic and is a contraction of "glamourous camping". It means, basically, that a butler sets up your tent in the wilderness somewhere and a chef cooks your meals and a maid then tidies up. There are, of course, state-of-the-art portable bathrooms supplied.
There must be several, similarly wonderful names to be made up. Let me offer you "glagering", where a butler arrives at the bench of your choice and offers you a glamourous lager. I'm sure there's more...

I have always enjoyed sending people thank-you cards when they have helped me out. I call it Wonderful Thanking.
I'll delete this post later.
-
I suppose if I took a bird on holiday somewhere special, and there was champagne to hand etc, we could have "glissing".
-
French jigging with hand bell.
-
I just love how we take Roger's perfectly respectable topics and drag them down into the gutter within a few posts.

You started it!
Yortit!

Not once I've deleted that post.

You deloster, you!

I've always been a shirer.
-
Snirk!
-
But getting back to the spirit of Roger's original post, I think this school term I shall indulge in glutoring and glarking essays.
-
That's a cross between a snigger and a smirk. It's my own invention.
But you can use it wisely. Or Usely as I call it.
-
Is "usely" a verb or an adverb?
-
I'm not ignoring you, Mince, you posted just a sec before I did.
Now I'm deliberately ignoring you. Or delignoring, as the OED will soon have it.
