Title: Scofflaw.

Post by: Redundant on August 19, 2016, 12:49:24 PM: I like scofflaw, it reminded me of an old favourite television programme, "Call My Bluff", I tried to figure out if it's clearly related definition would actually exclude it being selected as the correct definition, simply as being too obvious. Ah for the days of Robert Robinson, Frank Muir, Arthur Marshall and Patrick Campbell, to name but a few.

Jack's birthday is 31st December, and he's nine, the next day it's a new year so he's ten...and work it backwards.

Jack's birthday would have to be 31 DEC and the current date would have to be 01 JAN for this to work. Jack would have been seven on 30 DEC the year before. So on 31 DEC the year before he was eight. This year, on 30 DEC 2015, he will be nine. So next year he will be ten.
