...has a lot to answer for, including ruining the following familiar phrases from some of my favourite cowboy films:

• "I'm gonna pump you fulla lead
• "Give me a stiff one barkeep!"
• "Relax pilgrim, I've been in tighter spots before"
• "Don't move while I sneak round from behind"
• "Mount up!"
• "Ride 'em cowboy!"
