I have just had one cup of tea but I seem to have finished it without realising. Now I want another one. But I can't be bothered to get out of my chair. Add to that the fact that I am watching an episode of Columbo that I have not seen before. It's a predicament.
-
It's a predicament.
I thought you said it's a cup of tea.
-
It is now. Someone has just made me another cup. Crisis over.
-
"Someone"?
Have you got a bird round?
-
No, I'm at my parents' home at the moment.
-
"Someone"?
Have you got a bird round?
What kind of 'bird' can make tea? I'm sure, in this day and age, it can't be a secretary bird! :D
-
I'm hungry again now.
-
Columbo has nearly got him.
-
You appear to be extremely accomplished in languid arts, Mince.
-
Of course.
Columbo is getting to the denouement.
-
You appear to be extremely accomplished in languid arts, Mince.
Yes. I meant to say that as well! ::)
-
You appear to be extremely accomplished in languid arts, Mince.
Thank you. I've worked very hard to become so.
-
And yet you are still trying to perfect your skills. How admirable!
-
Of course.
Columbo is getting to the denouement.
When he arrived at the denouement, did they let him in?
-
When he arrived at the denouement, did they let him in?
No, they shot him. He then had to investigate his own murder as a ghost.
-

Yes. I meant to say that as well! ::)
I think that you are describing a slob.
This is correct.

This is correct.
No, Peter. I wasn't describing a slob - just someone who is disinclined to do anything if "someone" else is there to do it for him! I presume the "someone" is Mince's mum (it can't be you, Peter.). :P
-
Oh I am sure Mince is not a slob. How could he be? I think you must mean socially-and-domestically-challenged.

-
I like tea; I like Columbo.
-
I like Columbian tea.
-
I've had tea with Columbo.
-
I wonder if he was called Dumbo at school.
-
I hate to state the obvious, but I will:
Were you called "Dense," Mince?
I'm sorry you have been unwell, Peter. Hope you are up and about very soon. :)
-
They called me "prince", and then the "the meat formerly known as prince".
-

Sounds like a dog food.
-
Oh, and thought that when the girls kept saying "Woof!" to me . . .
Now it all makes sense.
-
Yes, you're dog food that's now reduced to a pence; however, you do realize that the suggestion that you might now be dog food came from a fellow who has a pig as an avatar.

A black pot-bellied hog, if you please.
-
Whatever.
