I've noticed it many times, and did again today. When you start the gentle frying, it initially gives of an unpleasant aroma. It did help that I fried a little garlic and chillies first before adding the mince however. This was best Scottish beef, so it was quality stuff.

Anyway, it's Wednesday, the sun is shining and I'm off for a few hours to play golf. By the way, did anyone fall for the April Fools stuff that was in the papers yesterday? I checked the "Daily Star" and found a story that was well-written and made sense----that must have been it.
