Title: Mince - Help with embedding youtube video, please

As I mentioned in the Eurovision thread, I've just spent hours trying to embed a youtube video into my post, but it keeps coming up with two lots of video and most of the code.  I thought I would show you what's happening here, Mince.  Please don't tell me it looks all right to you - I'll need to borrow Madjock's avatar!

Here we go:

It looks the same whether I put the html code round it or not.

You just need to paste the URL - nothing more.

I have edited your post. Edit your post yourself to see what I did.

Remember to paste the separate "code" that's highlighted to the right of each video on the YouTube page. This is the code to "embed" it. Then put (html) before, and (/html) after the code. Replace the curved brackets with square brackets [] & [] which I am unable to do in this instruction for obvious reasons!

Try NOT doing any of that. Just post the URL and the Beau Peep site will do the rest.

Peepmaster, use [nobbc] and [/nobbc] to avoid curved brackets.

Thanks - I don't know why I didn't just try that in the first place, and I have to say that I found that thread Peeps is talking about and thought I must be doing something wrong.  At least now I know I wasn't going nuts. (http://www.planetsmilies.com/smilies/rolleye/rolleye0005.gif)
