Title: The Element Encyclopedia of Birthdays
Post by: Diane CBPFC on April 12, 2010, 07:57:40 PM
I wrote this review: I picked this up at a garage sale because of its attractive cover. Being a sceptic - I thought I would check out my birthday for a bunch of nonsense. Eerily accurate! I bought the book; Theresa Cheung is spot on target with the five members of my immediate family.

http://www.amazon.ca/Element-Encyclopedia-Birthdays-Theresa-Cheung/dp/0007261497/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1271098452&sr=8-1-spell (http://www.amazon.ca/Element-Encyclopedia-Birthdays-Theresa-Cheung/dp/0007261497/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1271098452&sr=8-1-spell)

So who wants to know the highlights of their birthday personality?

How does the book work? Is it by day and month, or day, month and year? Does it go back to 1868?

No, I love reading horoscopes. I have a slight problem believing SOME of them, as nearly-d-i-l shares the same dd/mm but 31 years later, and some of the things that get lined up for her make me blush.....!

I would love you to give me highlights of my personality!  <<26/07/46>> but don't tell anyone else!

Mumbo jumbo, all of it. Superstitious claptrap. Why on Earth would I want a reading for February 6th? What possible bearing could the day you were born, February 6th, have on the rest of your life, let alone your character. I can't believe how many normally level-headed people on this forum appear to be suckers for this kind of nonsense. Obviously none of you were born on Februaury 6th, that's all I can say.

So everyone who took part, on a scale of 1 to 5 with 1 being a bad description of you and 5 being spot on - how did they score for you?

I would say mine was a 5

8 May- the birthday of the irresistible messenger.

stong-willed individuals who rarely back down. Totally dedicated to their ideals, often spokesperson for a group. Extraordinary self-belief. Powerful convictions. Diplomacy isn’t one of their strengths but they have the potential to be excellent communicators. People can be afraid of them but underneath their tough exterior lies a gentle, caring and generous side that they only reveal to their nearest and dearest.

AT YOUR BEST: outspoken, caring, persuasive

Your greatest challenge is...listening to alternative viewpoints
