I cannot remember the last time I went a full day without wearing socks.
I'm not sure there's ever been such a day. Well, probably for a short while after I was born. I'm not sure how old babies are before you start putting socks on them.

When on holiday, I wear my socks OUTSIDE my sandals. It's a rather dashing look and I receive lots of admiring glances.
