I wonder how many insults are going to get thrown around Today.
-
I've decided to give insults a rest for a while. I've decided to be really nice for a week.

More to the point, how unlikely is that!

Thank you, Peter.

Thank you, Peter.
I hope TT111 and Mince are looking it is so nice to get a sensible reply.

And it's nicely punctuated as well.

Meaning?
A warm welcome, Vulture. Feel free to spread your wings and pick over the bones.

Hi Vulture. Have you eaten yet? I mean, have you had your luncheon Vulture?
(I think that was in a Beau Peep strip once...)

Best line ever on TV, Boys From The Black Stuff - Yosser Hughes is losing the plot and takes refuge in the confessional box...
"I'm desperate, Father."
"Please - call me Dan."
"I'm desperate, Dan."
And he looked just like him too.
Sorry - do carry on.

I bought the series on DVD about a year ago. That moment, at such an emotional point in the drama, made me laugh so much that I had to stop the DVD. Brilliant stuff!
If you want to borrow the DVDs, and trust me with your address, I'll send them to you.
-
Very generous of you, Mincey. I shall keep it in mind.
-
You do that.

Luncheon? I was under the impression that 'wimmin' weren't allowed such luxuries. But I have finished the scraps left on the plate by the MOH.
-
You do that.
I certainly shall.
