Don't know if I like it, though it might grow on me.
-
It's getting there, but there's a bit of an orange clash going on, and I'm not too wild about the bar of camel turds. Certainly an improvement on the brown Neil Diamond offering though.
Got to run - I have this strange and sudden urge to go for a pint.
-
I've had to put my sunglasses on! 8)
-
I tried to tame the orange but it got carried away.

Shame you weren't.

He's determined to drive us all mad. I blame Peter! >:(
-
Maybe I should try pink.
-
Peter, give him the sweeties for goodness sake.

You'd look good in that - let us know how you get on.

The background's lost a lot of quality in the colour. It looks as though it's happened when the image has been optimised for the web.
-
This is like being inside a kaleidoscope.
-
I know I don't post here much and shouldn't offer an opinion, but here it is anyway: I like the new background. It's certainly more upbeat and it seems to fit better with the personalities on here than the previous bland background.

OFFICIAL STATEMENT FROM THE C.B.P.F.C.
The current background would only appeal to a raving psychotic drunken loony.
-
I love it!

Or a Texan, like me. Same thing.
-
It reminds me of a desert sunset. (It did look normal until I clicked the refresh button).
-
I don't care what the background's like now. I just can't believe I never saw it covered in Neil Diamond....reminds me of my youth when I had a major crush on John Newcombe and he always seemed to get knocked out in the 1st or 2nd round(of Wimbledon). The summer he got to the Final (and won), I was wandering around the States :(

You're a Texan, Calypso! I just spent four very enjoyable days with a lovely Texan lady in New Zealand. She doesn't quite fit the above profile, but probably has the potential to do so!
As for myself, I don't post often either, but I rather like the background too. But then, I'm a Scot slash Australian, so definitely have the potential to fit the profile. ;)
-
The blue works for me....DON'T TOUCH IT AGAIN!!!
-
Now that I know how to do themes, I shall set up a BLUE, ORANGE and the original DULL LIKE TARQUIN theme in the next few days.
-
You're a gentleman and a s******.

Malc had better keep away from you then.

Hi Joan. Yes, I live in Texas. I am glad you had a nice experience with the Texan. I don't have a Texas twang, because I grew up in another state. I don't have the big hair. I don't own any cowboy boots, unless you consider a pair of BCBG-brand cowboy-boot-inspired slides or mules (shoes, gentlemen) that I wear with jeans. I live in the more cosmopolitan city of Dallas. We're the more sophisticated raving, drunken loonies. ;D
-
Y'all don't say "y'all" neither, Calypso.
-
I have a friend who moved from Montana to Brownsville, Texas. Apparently, it's a trifle warm there.
-
My mum made me a sponge cake spread with jam, soaked in wine and layered with custard. She also made my brother the same thing. I didn't want mine but wanted the one my brother had, because his had the custard at the top and mine had the custard at the bottom. He wouldn't swap. My mum said we were arguing over trifles.
-
Mince is certainly the most trifling member of this board.
-
"Mince Trifle"! Two courses in one. I'm surprised Egon hasn't served it up yet.
-
I see Mince has got over his sugar rush and put everything (almost) back the way it was. Now all we have to do is work out how to stop him from doing it again! :D >:( :D >:(
-
Lil,
John Newcombe used to live near us when we lived in Sydney. One day we took the kids to McDonalds and Newk was at the next table having a business meeting. My wife is the tennis fan, and she asked me to get his autograph, but I'm not, so I didn't.

Ah, it's looking much better now. I think it's almost there, Mincey - almost there...
-
It's back to how it was. You may choose either of the other two themes from the HOME page.

Well, I for one appreciate the hard work that's gone into getting the forum looking this way.

I can't tell if he's being sarcastic or not.

That's simply he is being sarcastic.
-
I'm worried that I may have missed a comma from after the word "one".
I wasn't being sarcastic. I know how much hard work went into transforming the forum. Now I'm just waiting for Tranquil's endorsement.
-
He should be happy. I remade the "Dull Original" theme especially for him.
-
It would be interesting to see how popular the new themes are.

Why me?

WHY ME?

WHY ME?
Now calm down Tarks.
Take Deep breaths
-
WHY ME?
Tarquin - you had to do it, didn't you. You lost your cool and played right into their hands. That's just what Peeps and Mince wanted.
-
No, no, no, Vult - I was just being extremely witty.

My apologies: I'm not used to wit from you. ::)

Hey - Don't associate me with Mincey's devious ways!

You were in there, stirring away. You're just as devious as Mince!
