It reminds me of a desert sunset. (It did look normal until I clicked the refresh button).

I don't care what the background's like now.  I just can't believe I never saw it covered in Neil Diamond....reminds me of my youth when I had a major crush on John Newcombe and he always seemed to get knocked out in the 1st or 2nd round(of Wimbledon).  The summer he got to the Final (and won), I was wandering around the States :(

OFFICIAL STATEMENT FROM THE C.B.P.F.C.
The current background would only appeal to a raving psychotic drunken loony.

Or a Texan, like me. Same thing.

You're a Texan, Calypso!  I just spent four very enjoyable days with a lovely Texan lady in New Zealand.  She doesn't quite fit the above profile, but probably has the potential to do so!

As for myself, I don't post often either, but I rather like the background too.  But then, I'm a Scot slash Australian, so definitely have the potential to fit the profile.  ;)

Now that I know how to do themes, I shall set up a BLUE, ORANGE and the original DULL LIKE TARQUIN theme in the next few days.

Malc had better keep away from you then.

Hi Joan. Yes, I live in Texas. I am glad you had a nice experience with the Texan. I don't have a Texas twang, because I grew up in another state. I don't have the big hair. I don't own any cowboy boots, unless you consider a pair of BCBG-brand cowboy-boot-inspired slides or mules (shoes, gentlemen) that I wear with jeans. I live in the more cosmopolitan city of Dallas. We're the more sophisticated raving, drunken loonies. ;D

I have a friend who moved from Montana to Brownsville, Texas. Apparently, it's a trifle warm there.

My mum made me a sponge cake spread with jam, soaked in wine and layered with custard. She also made my brother the same thing. I didn't want mine but wanted the one my brother had, because his had the custard at the top and mine had the custard at the bottom. He wouldn't swap. My mum said we were arguing over trifles.

Mince is certainly the most trifling member of this board.

"Mince Trifle"! Two courses in one. I'm surprised Egon hasn't served it up yet.

I see Mince has got over his sugar rush and put everything (almost) back the way it was. Now all we have to do is work out how to stop him from doing it again!  :D >:(  :D >:(

Lil,
John Newcombe used to live near us when we lived in Sydney. One day we took the kids to McDonalds and Newk was at the next table having a business meeting. My wife is the tennis fan, and she asked me to get his autograph, but I'm not, so I didn't.
