Title: My Computer Skills.

I'm tired of being the butt of endless jokes about my computer skills so I'm determined to improve them. Okay, the top line of keys on my laptop start with "esc" and then there's a sequence of "F" numbers with pretty pictures underneath. What the hell are THEY for? I've never touched any of them in my life!

F1 = Help

F2 = Edit name of file

F5 = Refresh Web Page

Ok I got told off for swearing, and this sounds like something from Readers Wives! (not that I would know what that is btw) ;D

My "F" buttons have different default functions.

F1 & 2 = Brightness
F3 = Mute
F4 & 5 = Sound
F6 = Number Lock
F7 = Toggles Video Output
F8 = Different Desktops
F9 = Shows all Open Windows
F10 = Shows all Open Windows in Current Application
F 11 = Hides all Open Windows
F12  Shows all Widgets

On its own. They're the default key settings for Mac, running with Leopard anyway. My older desktop machine doesn't have Leopard, so I'd have to check their functions.

Good Grief, people, there was nothing remotely salacious about this. I was talking about the computer key--- in the style of those melodramatic 40's films where young Bugsy has to prove his worth to other gang members.
Tarks IS a handsome lad, though.

I admit they are expensive, but as a creative illustrator, and graphic designer, I always work with Macs. I'm on my 9th or 10th now, and I've had 2 PCs too, (but only so the kids (when young) could play games on them). I need reliability, and definitely do not need viruses etc..
