I showed it to my sons. They said it's from the movie "Never Back Down". I thought it was real. :-\
I suppose it's a more elaborate version of the Indiana Jones scene where the big Arab appears, swinging his sword spectacularly only to have Harrison Ford pull a gun and shoot him dead.

Did I tell you about my own musical prowess? I do karaoke now on a Saturday night. This is my piece of resistance, only this is Chris Montez's version

Okay Roger - listen very carefully, here's what you should do: go into Dixons or wherever and buy a digital movie camera, work out how to use it, then get yourself to Wemyss Bay, hop on the ferry to Rothesay, find the pub where Nigel does his Karaoke bit and when he's on, slink into the audience and surreptitiously record the whole of his performance. Don't let him see you or the camera, because he might try to fill you with beer, or worse, whisky, and remove it from your person. Get the video onto your laptop as quickly as possible, upload it to YouTube, and post it here for our enjoyment.
If you don't think you can manage that today, next Saturday will do.

That Filipina girl certainly has an amazing voice, but just to be a nitpicky bastard, she's basically doing an impression of Jennifer Holliday, whose signature song this is.
I first heard "And I'm Telling You..." in about 1987, I came across it by accident, it was on a compilation tape and her voice blew me away. I left the tape (ready to play at that particular song) for a friend of mine who worked in the same office as me. She played it later and said it blew her away too. The song was a constant talking point between us and it turned her on to Jennifer Holliday as a singer.
The only reason I mention this lady is that she got in touch with me via Facebook an hour before I played that You Tube tape, the first time I've contacted her in twenty years. Some coincidence!
I also have a small problem with fifteen year olds singing torch songs meant for emotionally and sexually mature women, but I AM being picky, the girl is superb.
Here's Jennifer Holliday singing "her" song. She can bring strong men to tears. And chew up the scenery a bit.

Of course, that's precisely why I suggested you do it. Just giving you a challenge in your advancing years, Roger. ;)
Maybe Lucy could do the deed. By the sound of some of his other posts, you could probably set the camera up on a tripod in front of the stage and he'd be quite happy. ;D
