Bloody rotten useless Daily Star messed up Beau again on Saturday.  They reprinted a Vulture's strip from 3rd April (no 4454) and I really wanted to see how Beau and Dennis fared on the last day of their desert training exercise.

Maybe it was just my edition - but, as ever, no response from the paper to my email.   So can anybody scan in the correct one from Saturday 3rd May (no 4480)?  Please?!

Anyway, simmer down Baker.   I hope everyone is enjoying the Bank Holiday

I think all editions ran that bizarre error, Rob. I don't have any printed version of the strip to scan but, after checking my rough script, I can tell you what happened in it....
Frame  One: Outside the fort, Sergeant Bidet is talking to the unshaven Beau and Dennis.
Bidet: "Once again, you two are the last to complete the survival exercise."
Frame Two:
Bidet: "You've taken incompetency to a new level"
Dennis: (punching the air, happily) "YAY!"
Frame Three:
Beau: "That's not a good thing, Dennis."
Dennis: "I wasn't sure but I like saying "Yay" "

It's at times like this, as the tumbleweed drifts by, you realise that the artwork is 90% of the strip.....
